Introduction
Zagwear has continued efforts to ensure that modern slavery, in all its forms, is not taking place within our business or supply chain and remains dedicated to meeting its commitments for 2020.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy in respect of all forms of modern slavery, forced/compulsory labor and human trafficking, whether in our own global operations or in our supply chains. Striving to meet our objectives for 2020, we are strongly committed to guarding against slavery and human trafficking in our global operations. As we continue to grow across the territories we are present in, we have made further improvements to our practices to ensure that modern slavery risks are managed effectively.
Established in 1995, Zagwear is a leading independent marketing services business employing over 60 people worldwide. With our corporate headquarters in New York and an office location in London, United Kingdom, Zagwear provides global supply chain solutions to a broad spectrum of clients spanning across several diverse sectors using product supply chains which are global and extensive. Zagwear sources and distributes products in Europe, North America and Asia using hundreds of suppliers and strategic partners.
Our Policies
In 2018, Zagwear further reviewed and updated several of its employee and supplier policies to ensure we are always conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner, these include:
Zagwear’s Supplier Code of Conduct, which was updated to ensure our commitment to the eradication of modern slavery is communicated both comprehensively and effectively to all employees, suppliers and contractors;
Zagwear’s Whistleblowing policy was reviewed and updated, and a new policy will be launched in Q4 2019 to include an independent helpline for anonymous reporting. This is designed to encourage employees to report matters anonymously if they wish, without fear of reprisal; and Zagwear’s supplier contracts which were reviewed and updated to ensure modern slavery risks are appropriately addressed.
Training
In 2017, Zagwear launched its internal compliance training program, which includes a specific module on modern slavery. It is a mandatory requirement for all staff to complete the course to ensure there is a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking across the business.
Our Effectiveness in Combatting Modern Slavery
Zagwear was rated in the top 10% of over 50,000 companies assessed for CSR by EcoVadis in 2018, the leading platform for environmental, social and ethical performance ratings for global supply chains. CSR analysts reviewed Zagwear’s global supply chain and CSR practices across the following four pillars: Environment, Labour Practices, Sustainable Procurement and Fair Business Practices.

Zagwear is continuing in its efforts to achieve its Commitments for 2020 with momentum and it is proud of the steps it has already taken towards achieving these.
This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out steps taken by Zagwear to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
